For me it is a pleasure to announce that from August 28 to September 1 I will be at Náquera Sona Music Week in Valencia teaching a course and playing a concert on the 30th at the Hermitage of Sant Francesc de Náquera. During the week there will be courses to improve instruments such as clarinet or horn, high-level concerts and exhibitions among other activities. This is the first year in which the guitar participates and enters with force in the programming, with the improvement course and the 1st Contest for Young Guitarists “Náquera Sona”.

Although the contest is being held for the first time, it has received support from brands such as Knobloch Strings and Raimundo Guitars. The first prize of the contest consists of a diploma and a guitar thanks to Raimundo Guitars, besides there will be a second prize thanks to Knobloch Strings and Artis Store, and a third prize in charge of Musical Da Capo.

The jury will be made up of professors from different conservatories and local authorities, as well as note that those attending the guitar course will be able to participate in the contest without any tuition fees. The advanced courses will consist of 25 teaching hours and will be held in the morning and afternoon.
